Product Care    How can I safely care for my acrylic award?    Acrylic awards may be washed with a mild soap or detergent and cleaned with a soft cloth or sponge. Never use abrasive cleaners, household cleaners, window cleaning fluids or any abrasive cloths as these can scratch your award. Back to Top      Do your awards ship in gift packaging?    Most of our Glass, Crystal, Acrylic and Stonecast awards ship in black gift packaging for an elegant presentation. Plaques ship in a white plaque box, and most figures ship in white corrugated packaging. Custom gift packaging is available upon request. Whether you have a general concept or a specific design in mind, we can bring your vision to reality. To being a custom program, we need a theme, a budget, a quantity and a delivery date to get started. Back to Top   Artwork    What do I need to submit for my imprinting instructions?    We require production-ready artwork (see requirements below) and a layout instruction page. For the fastest service, we recommend providing process-ready digitally produced artwork. Artwork requiring touch-up, design, color separation, typesetting or rearranging for any use may result in art charges. The factory reserves the right to determine whether artwork is process-ready to insure the highest quality imprinting.  A layout instruction page shows the desired placement of logos, images, personalization, copy, colors requested, etc.  For photo frames specify vertical or horizontal layouts. A layout instruction page may be submitted by fax, paper mailed or emailed (.jpg or .pdf formats) to artwork@rsowens.com. Back to Top      What software platforms do you use for preparing artwork?    Most imprinting processes require copy and artwork to be supplied in a 100% black and 100% white vector based file (Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw). Four-color process screening requires a minimum 300 dpi and 100% of imprint size, color separated file. We accommodate both IBM and Macintosh platforms.  When submitted any artwork, please include the operating software and version number on your layout page.  Acceptable software versions include: Adobe Illustrator CS5 or lower; Adobe Photoshop CS5 or lower; Corel Draw X5 or lower. Xeroxes, faxes, web images, photocopies, Polaroids or unauthorized usage of images and graphics are not acceptable forms of production-ready artwork. Please note the following program requirements: $1,000 (x) minimum order Program Duration: One Year from receipt of PO.
