NAACP Image Award
Presented annually, the NAACP Image Awards is the nation's premier event celebrating the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the arts as well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice.
The NAACP Image Award is a custom cast award of a person on his knees holding a globe over his head. The award, which is plated in satin silver, sits atop a two-tiered round ebony base. An aluminum band is engraved with the recipient's name, category and year the award was received.
