International Soccer Award
At over 36 inches tall and 28 pounds, this International Soccer Award is remarkable. It is made from vacuum formed black acrylic, hand formed and fabricated 1/8” thick brass hexagons that are pressed and silver soldered together to form the full size ball. The ball was plated bright gold on the outside and satin gold on the inside. The riser is 1/4” thick solid brass that was hand formed by heating and bending and then plated bright gold. The base was made from 3” thick gold plated aluminum that was turned on a lathe and then hollowed out to reduce weight.
