Chicago awards manufacturer creates awards for Las Vegas Finale

The Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam World Finals concluded Saturday, March 26, with an awards ceremony that honored Cam McQueen, driver of Northern Nightmare.  Cam won top honors for the Freestyle World Championship.

The art glass trophy is a one-of-a-kind signed ebony and gold winner’s cup with clear blown glass handles.

The mahogany finished walnut base is surrounded by brushed aluminum struts designed in a cathedral style latticework to frame the Acrylicolor imprint with bright multi-colorfilled graphics and a full color digital brass plate with a photo of the winning truck. 

R.S.Owens created both trophies for Austin Bradlee and worked closely with them to push the boundaries of award creation to generate a statement that reflects the extreme sport of Monster Truck Racing.
